Before & After: The Clorinda House

Ready to move the family to their new home, the owners of The Clorinda House were not having any luck selling their 5 bed, 6 bath, 5,429 sqft. home in San Rafael. Sitting on the market for over two months, they brought in our team to help get their home sold.

The home is absolutely gorgeous, but aesthetically wasn’t attracting buyers like other homes on the market that were seeing multiple offers. We strategized with our clients to give it a rest on the MLS, make some cosmetic updates and bring it back feeling like a whole new home. With $30,000 into painting, landscaping, staging and putting new countertops and backsplash in the kitchen, we received an incredible pre-market offer through our networking groups that the owners were thrilled to accept.

The Living Room

Objective: Give the main living space a fresh new look

The great room is the heart of the home and we saw so much potential to update the space to attract today’s modern home buyers. With a fresh coat of paint, new lighting fixtures, and staging we were able to create a whole new look.

The Kitchen

Objective: Update the kitchen with modern colors and backsplash

We painted kitchen cabinets our favorite white, gave the island a pop of color, re-tiled the backsplash with classic subway tiles and swapped out lighting fixtures to create a show-stopping kitchen.

The Master Bath

Objective: Create a bright, beautiful master bathroom

Gorgeous bathroom, dated colors. Paint always does the trick.

The Yard

Objective: Maximize outdoor living space

The Clorinda House has an amazing yard but a huge portion was unusable with an overgrown garden smack in the middle. We contracted our landscaper to remove the obstruction and lay down fresh lawn to open up the yard and maximize the outdoor living space.
