COVID-19: We're in this together...with a little help from our friends

IMG_1582.JPG

To our clients, friends and colleagues –

First and foremost, we want to send our love and support during this difficult time. It feels like yesterday that we were sending out hugs and high fives to welcome 2020. Since then, our world has simultaneously sped up and slowed down in ways that we could not have imagined. The news came fast, changes to our daily routines are the new norm and life at home is our new reality.

The global COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most challenging things we’ve had to face as an industry and a community. Today, Team Own Marin, alongside our colleagues, are complying with the Bay Area Shelter In Place Order. Together, if we all do our part to stay indoors, we are hopeful in making an impact to reduce the spread of the virus and shorten the length of its effects on our community and economy.

Although our offices are closed, open houses are cancelled, and listings are being put on temporary hold – we are adapting to new ways to connect with our community online and over the phone to continue to close deals for our clients. Our team will remain available, providing online and video consultations, and sharing updates on our social media channels. We continue to monitor and adhere to the guidelines set forth by our local, state and national governments, as well as leading real estate industry associations.

Please know that during this time we will continue to serve your every real estate need and do everything we can to offer our knowledge and support. Now, more than ever, we will come together to communicate and collaborate to work safely on your behalf. We are here to assist you in every way possible and are committed to providing you with the utmost service and guidance as we navigate through this difficult time.

We’re truly in this together, just a little farther apart.

With gratitude and hope,

Team Own Marin –

Barr, Whitney, Julia, Allie, Whitney B. & Ashley

With a little help from our friends…

If there’s any silver lining to life in the age of COVID-19, it’s seeing people and our community come together and step up to help one another with the challenges ahead. So first, let us say thank you. Thank you to our healthcare providers locally and around the world who are tirelessly fighting the spread of COVID-19, putting their own health at risk to protect ours. Thank you to the truckers, stockers, checkers and baggers who are providing our groceries and supplies. Thank you to our local restaurants and kitchen teams who are cooking, cleaning and extending their offerings to food delivery and car drop-off’s while practicing social distancing with a warm smile and welcoming heart. Thank you to our delivery drivers who are delightfully arriving at our doorsteps. Thank you to the men and women in uniform working to serve and protect us in our community. We couldn’t do this without you and it’s because of you we can feel a sense of comfort during one of the most unsettling and unpredictable times of our lives.

Now more than ever it’s essential to support our community so we’ve rounded up some helpful resources for grocery shopping, food delivery services and restaurants that are lending an extra (overly sanitized) hand:

* Please note that this list is by no means complete and changes are occurring faster than we can keep up with them. Please contact the business directly via the included websites to ensure they meet your needs.
